Just Friends

So me and David decided to be friends today. He wants to see me though, he doesn't want me to feel like we can't hang out anymore or we can't be friends because he thinks I'm a really awesome person and he wants to be friends with me. I feel the same way about him, granted I really, really liked him, like way more then you can imagine. I don't think I could describe how much the last few months of dating him have made me feel and how much I wanted that feeling to never, ever go away. But, that's how it goes I suppose.

I'm looking forward to this weekend, it's the 4th of July and it will be awesome!!! :) Spending time with my family is always a good time, seriously!!! Going to the pool, and a co-worker's BBQ. Going to the NAT's game, can't wait!!! Yay! :D

Here is a picture of snoopy that I love and I hope you will too!

What a Busy Weekend!!!

Friday night was great. Drove around Fairfax Corner with Ava trying to get HP7 part II tickets for a friday night showing...we were not successful...stupid theatre complex! So to make up for driving all that way we went to Pot Belly's, mmm so good!

Then we had movie night at Diana and Sunny's in celebration of selling their house in St. Louis! We made sundae's and they were delicious! :)

Then came Saturday...we all get ready and ran around the morning of to finally get to the field to play and end on a win. It was our last game of the summer season so we were all excited...but then the other team never showed up so we scrimmaged each other and got all hot and sweaty. Patty subbed for some other team and she did really well and made a couple touch downs so that was fun rooting for her.

Then I jumped in my car with Laurene and we drove all the way down to Lexington, Virginia! Holy Cow! I had not driven that distance before with me as the driver but it was a lot of fun and very scenic. Finally got to Lexington and it was beautiful. Shori's family lives in a very beautiful area, away from everything. It's literally a farm surrounded by mountains and open lands. Camping was great, tubing was fun, the food was amazing as well. Shori's dad gave us free japanese sushi from his restaurant and that was such a generous thing for him to do and we were all thankful and really enjoyed ourselves. I would definitely go back to visit....just give me some time to rest...I'm thinking a few more months, haha! :)

I was so exhausted driving back but it was a lot of fun! I also finally made some tortellini's and chicken "poppers" and it was yummy! :) This one is for you Dorsa!!!

Today I had a Wednesday

So today was Wednesday, awesome. Work was busy for a change so I was able to keep myself occupied rather then waiting for my face to hit the keyboard...just kidding! Had a lovely evening with Dorsa at the Rite Aid talking about anti-itch cream while an awkward man stood near by looking at Bengay and deciding if we were as weird as him...probably. Then had a lovely dinner, very german and filling. :) The drive to and from work, as well as from my place to everyone else is always long enough to allow me to reflect on things and to enjoy the moments I have and not stress about the little things. Try to live in the moment. Try it. It can be hard at times when all your worries are constantly tugging at your ankles but I think I can do it this year! Yeah! :)

Harmony & Ernest's Wedding!

So the wedding of Harmony and Ernest was this past Saturday and it was really awesome and very sweet. I am very happy for the both of them and was so happy to be a part of their wedding! The entertainment was wonderful and brought back memories from when I first met the Cromwell's, and of course when I first met Harmony! :) We had some good summers together and I look forward to having many more with them!

It was a long weekend and there was a lot of driving so I was glad when I got home and was able to get some much needed rest! Whose wedding will be next? Haha, who knows?
