Snow and Ghouls in October!

Saturday morning I woke up to freezing rain. David and I went out into the freezing rain in search of the rest of his costume. He wanted to be Omar from "The Wire" a really cool show. I loved the idea and had a lot of fun searching a lot of different places before we found everything to complete the costume. Definitely Rangers Surplus was where all the stuff was at but it was also the last place we looked, haha!

By the afternoon the freezing rain had turned to snow/sleet and it left a light dusting everywhere. I didn't take any pics because we were constantly on the move! I drove home with the snow/sleet whipping down the highway. It was kind of scary but kind of cool because I don't think I have ever seen snow in October!

Went home and started getting ready for the Costume Party that Lejia was hosting at our place! It was a lot of fun!

I had a great time and was happy to see some friends I have seen in while :)

Sunday morning David and I drove to the passport office and turned in my passport application! Yaaaay now I can leave the country legally! Hahaha

Afterwards I drove to Bob's place and started carving pumpkins with Dorsa, Erik, Diana, Sunny, Anya and Bob!!! It's a fun tradition to carve pumpkins with the peeps. Check out these awesome pumpkins!

After pumpkin carving we watched the Skins lose to the Bulls while eating delicious chili my Bob made for us!!! Yummm I was really hungry for it! I could smell it the whole time we were there :)

It was a great weekend. Can't wait for Thanksgiving now :)

Traffic is a bummer and a lot of strange drivers on the road and my feeling of safety is gradually dwindling. Bleh!

I Moved!!!!

Hello,

I just moved in with Lejia, this awesome girl that I have known my whole life and it is awesome! I love living in a house again and living with a real friend who is a lot more like me and is easy going and who does not have a rule for everything!

Ahem, some of you may know who I am talking about but we will not mention names here. I am so excited to be living with her, she's great and I love that there is a back yard and a little dog to play with :)

Thank you to the folks who helped me move in to my place: Bob, Dorsa, Diana, Sunny, Dad and David :)

I'm excited for fall now because I can relax and not worry about having to move yaaaay!!!!

C-A-P-S CAPS CAPS CAPS!!!!

I went to my first Hockey game last night!!! CAPS vs. Tampa Bay. David and I rode the metro down to the Verizon center so we could drink!



This is David outside the Verizon Center, he said before the game he was feeling like a win tonight!



This place apparently has good Crepes that we have to get next game we go see!

It was a pretty intense game. The two teams kept after each other with goals always following one after the other until it was a tied score of 5 to 5 and then the 3 period was over and they did a final shoot out. That was really cool.

Right when David said that if this one player makes this goal, then the CAPS win and right then he shot the goal the crowd went nuts!!!

Honestly the CAPS played a lot better then Tampa Bay, had better defense, made more shots and was just better! So it was a good game!

We had amazing seats in the club level area where everything is very nice! The couple we were sitting next to were really nice too :) I bought hot dogs and fries for David and I and a few drinks as a thank you since he bought the tickets for us, but he did buy me a couple drinks as well because he likes being the gentlemen who pays for his lady :)

Needless to say, David and I drank before and during the game so I definitely was drunk when we were on our way home riding the metro. Haha! So the morning was difficult but I pulled through, yaaay! No more mixing up alcohol, either I stick to either beer all night or rum and cranberry, none of this mix and match…my tummy no likey!

It was an awesome game and a great night with David and I can’t wait to do it again this weekend!!!!

Hello Blogger People!

So I bought my first car on Saturday, a 2009 Toyota Camry, Red very nice! I went with Bob and the first car we saw online was the one we test drove and I felt really good after driving it and felt like this was my car :) So after a few hours of thinking it over it was decided it was a good deal and I signed all the paper work and left the lot with my new car :) Yaaaaayy!

I am going to miss my old camry. We have a lot of memories together and I will always remember that. I can't wait to make some new memories with my new car now :)
