One More Week

I was thinking this past week...my blog really needs a theme. Everyone who starts a blog usually picks one or two things that they talk about in their blog, whether it's politics, sports, relationships, cooking recipes, exercise and how to stay in shape, you know stuff like that. My blog is basically me documenting the stuff that I do or rather the stuff that I do with family and friends :)

Seems like the only people who would be interested in reading that is my immediate family and my boyfriend. I was thinking since my posts have been about me and David and the stuff that we do together maybe it should be about me and how I am in a relationship :) There are always going to be ups and downs, good times and bad times...mostly good times, though :)

Thoughts?

One week from today David will be moving in to the basement of Lejia's house. I'm looking forward to it :) This will be a first for me, living with my boyfriend in the same house. For the past seven months we've been trading back and forth staying at each others places everyday. It's a 25-30 minute drive between his place and mine and we have been make the trip up until now. Annnd for the last five months we have had a dog named Achilles and he has also been going back and forth with us from my place to his. It was stressful at times but we made it work.

That is why I am looking forward to having David move in...no more back and forth and every night we'll always be in the same place :)

Also we'll have Achilles at the house as a constant so it will be easier to share the responsibilities of him, because he can be a handful ;)

Also living together we can start going to the gym together and having dinner together and play with Achilles a lot more. I see all these things as a positive and it will be a learning experience of trial and error and that's what relationships are about, getting to know each other better and learn from each other.

Boom.

What a Thursday!!!

Hello people! What an awesome way to spend a Thursday in April. I had a very eventful day today with David and I wish we could have more days like the one we had today. Beautiful weather, warm in the sun, cool in the shade, sunny and the smell of hot dogs in the air...haha!

The first couple photos are just from last weekend because the weather was gorgeous so I had to document it :)

On with the game! It was the season opener for the Nat's today playing the Reds. Game was at 1:00 and we left springfield at 11:10 am got onto 395 annnnd then we hit traffic....yaaaaay my favorite thing, haha! Once in DC we must have drove around for 30 minutes looking for parking and every garage and every lot we got up to was FULL...damn. Very frustrating...finally we find a garage and when we drive up to it...the sign says TEMPORARILY FULL so David is all like "Fuck this one is full too..." so I start backing out from the drive way to continue our search...and then David just shouts out the passenger window "Where the FUCK can we park, every place is full!!" hahaha and then the guy at the garage station window ushers us inside...AWESOME!!! I later joked with David that the garage dude must have felt his passion and decided to let us in :)

Now on with the game!!

Only downside to having a baseball at 1 pm and ending after 4 pm is the rush hour traffic you will endure...oy ve...395 was not moving..literally did not move for half an hour and everyone is cutting you off and squeezing in last minute...not cool. So we took the longer route down 295...much better compared to 395...still slow in areas but we got back to springfield by 6:00..FTW!!! Good idea bubby :) Circus was at 7:00 but it was only 5 miles away, no problem!

Spring is finally here so I am in good spirits...except when there's traffic...traffic is evil annnnd David knows how much I despise traffic ;)

Still a very good day and I didn't have to be at work and got to spend it with my love the whole day :)
